Friends of Birmingham Botanical Gardens will host its annual Fall Plant Sale where guests can purchase natives, sustainable trees, shrubs, herbs, perennials, camellias, and more according to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

The event will take place rain or shine at Blount Plaza at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, which is located at 2612 Lane Park Road, at the following days and times:

-Saturday, Sept. 14 at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
-Sunday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Trees for sale were selected with Birmingham’s hot climate and dry conditions in mind. Additional items for sale include azaleas, hydrangeas, bonsai, herbs, ferns, perennials, and daylilies. These items were carefully picked out to provide patrons a diverse collection of native and non-native plants, which are excellent host plants for butterflies.

Proceeds will benefit the garden’s ongoing stewardship and enhancement, educational programs, and outreach activities.
